claims. the only mandatory claim within here is the face one. however, i recommend you sign up for housing (adults), quidditch teams & prefect positions (hogwarts) and jobs (both.)

sharing with three of your cousins isn't easy, but with a family like the weasley army, there's never really a lack of support. purchased on a whim by airy-headed weasley molly, the flat in diagon alley soon became a burden and she was forced to look high and low for housemates. luckily there's never really a lack in her family. the seven-roomed flat (bathroom, kitchen, living room and four bedrooms) isn't the rommiest place but the four make-do. it's constantly filled with voices as the four occupants go about their days bussing up and down from jobs in and around diagon alley. the living room is strewn with colourful pillows (molly's design) and of course her various unfinished pieces of writing. each bedroom has its own personality, as per the people within, but on the whole all weasley's are the same in one sense - the big photo inside the front doorway of the occupants grinning and waving to whoever is brave enough to enter the weasley-ified abode...

upgrading within the cave, how interesting! A villa, instead of the common two story cabin, now lays within the stone walls, standing tall, proud, and a rusted brown in color. the area, over the ten years, has blossomed, grass now littering everywhere that she has not placed a spell, leaving a comfortable lounging place. the small hole that was at the top of the cave that let sunlight come through has been sealed shut, a light rune placed at the very top of the cave to create artificial sunlight and moonlight. there are many things to do here, especially during the holidays, where she secludes herself to the top floor of her home, and the yard, leaving the orphans to have the rest of the home to themselves. heavy willows sprout from the ground, tickling the windows of the villa when the wind enters through the cave's tunnel, and shrubbery -trimmed- is everywhere. a small lake of sorts has been installed, as the inside of the cave has expanded over time, and a few enchanted creatures live within the crystal blue depths. such as merpeople who look like koi, and a friendly octopus that helps the children swim around if they don't know how. otherwise, this is the perfect get away for people to get their minds off of the cruelty of the natural wizarding world.

theodore remus lupin owns this one-story flat with seven rooms (one master bedroom, two guest rooms, a kitchen, a living room, and two bathrooms). living alone, teddy has the place all to himself but never really finds time to decorate the residence to his liking because he's always at his teaching job at Hogwarts. only coming home on some weekends, the flat is lacking a happy aura given that it's usually empty. furniture is mostly scarce in the rooms, only having essentials (beds in bedrooms, couches & tables in living room, breakfast table & fridge in kitchen). the flat has started becoming dusty and empty because of teddy's more hectic teaching schedule.

the ground floor contains the more important areas of hogwarts. This includes the entrance hall, great hall, staff room, caretaker's office, classroom eleven and a small chamber.

the first floor of hogwarts contains the muggle studies, defence against the dark arts and history of magic classrooms.

the second floor is empty and quiet, except for the wails of moaning myrtle coming from her bathroom.

the third floor contains the trophy room, charms classroom, a secret passageway and the hospital wing. as you can imagine this corridor is busy after quidditch matches.

the fifth floor is almost as empty as the second one - with only the boys bathroom and prefects bathroom.

tapping just the right brick in the wall behind the leaky cauldron in london ("three up...two across...") will reveal an archway which is a portal into diagon alley, a long cobbled street where is to be found a strange and exciting assortment of shops and restaurants. it is unquestionably the hub of commerce in the british wizarding world, with virtually every wizarding business stationed there. consequently, the demand for space here is steep, and rent costs "loads of galleons."

just around the corner from diagon alley lies a dark, twisting alleyway devoted to the dark arts: knockturn alley. It's a place where many children are not allowed in, and with good reason; not only are the wares sold their a bit dodgy, but the wizards hanging around behave fairly suspiciously as well. from the shops and the street vendors one can purchase, among other things, shrunken heads, poisonous candles, human-looking fingernails, and flesh-eating slug repellent.

located in central london, charing cross road is the site of the muggle side of the leaky cauldron, and therefore borders diagon alley as well.

king cross station - one of the busiest train stations in london - is home to platform nine and three quarters. aka, the hogwarts express and the long journey to scotland.

it's a big place you know. be careful that you don't get lost! not everyone in london is friendly, and not everyone in muggle london is a muggle. but even then, muggles can be just as dangerous as wizards and witches...
