DOMINIQUE LOUISE WEASLEY
these eyes you bought have gone to my head
but they won't take you to my bed
you talk a good game, but girl you've been played
look at this face you choose to play
the town talk keeps me up to date
we will never be the same
take off your colours who are you wearing them for?
tick off your lovers all respect was left at the door.
i had a front row seat to you on your knees
it was everything i hope it be
these eyes you bought have gone to my head
but they won't take you to my bed
"my name is really self explanatory. what sort of english woman has the name dominique? my name is french, and roughly translates as "lord", which i find rather sexiest. surely it should translate as "lady" as well! my middle name is louise, translating as "fame and war". i'm unsure on whether to be offended or delighted by the mixture of name given to me by my parents. although i love the name dominique, i'd prefer the meaning to be a little more ladylike. yet maybe my parents knew i'd be famous one day. i hope! i suppose there is no reason to explain my last name. everyone knows the meaning of weasley: freckles, quidditch and family.
there isn't really many nicknames you can decipher from 'dominique'. i despise the shortening - dom - as that is clearly a man's name. and i'm not a man, despite the meaning being "lord". i've been called 'monique' in the past, and although i do love that name it's a bit too girly for my taste. gosh, i'm so picky! so dominique will do for now. either that or "sex on legs". your choice. i'm still young and carefree! i'm twenty six years young, and i was born on september sixth. like all the weasleys, i'm a pureblood. my father's a weasley, and my mother originates from a pureblood french family. unlike the majority of my family, i decided to move away and break the routine. i believe i was one of the first weasley children to be sorted into ravenclaw. generally brains aren't a big part of my family, at least for my uncle ron.
people tend to say i look like the muggle model, becky lou filip."

"according to my mother i'm incredibly stubborn. to be honest i'm not entirely sure why she thinks that! probably the time i sat on the kitchen floor and threw a tantrum about chocolate ... but i was six, so surely that isn't being too stubborn?! my father likes to call me his "little genius", and i really can't disagree with that. i like to believe i'm the brains of the family, and the only one who won't shame the weasley name in public. i hope none of them heard that ... a few of my friends have called my headstrong, opinionated and entertaining. i do refuse to back down, i admit it. and if there's a subject then i'll have an opinion on it, no argument about it. i fail to see how i'm entertaining; although that'll have something to do with my clumsiness.
yes, i'm incredibly clumsy! i've managed to walk into walls, and once somehow cut myself open above my eyebrow. that left such a pretty little scar. apparently i argue too much! whatever. if i disagree with you or your views, then i'll let you know. it's as simple as that. that's led to most people claiming i'm far too open, and once again i disagree. even if i am open, what's wrong with it?! i have to admit, i'm fairly weak physically. wandwork, excellent. physical movement? crappy. another issue with my personality is my caring persona. if i see someone upset or unhappy i'll instantly talk to them, offer them anything. regardless whether i know them, or if i hate them.
so, my likes. i'll list them for you: france, summer evenings, walks, quidditch, some muggle music, fashion, my grandmother, ocean, dogs, my job, peace, family, love, foreign food, sleeping, christmas, family gatherings, cooking and food. and my dislikes: pain, illness, wars, stories of the past war, the scar on my face, ignorance, arrogance, pride, bullies, prejudice, rain, snow, winter, stereotyping, losing, shouting and death.
i would love to be the head of international magical cooperation. and maybe after that, the minister for magic. yes, i do tend to aim high, but why shouldn't i? a secret desire of mine is a family. i'm twenty six years old, and not yet married. my paternal grandmother is fussing. she wants grandchildren. my one greatest fear is seeing my family dead. i could deal with the destruction of the wizarding world, living as a muggle, anything. just not my dear family dead. the one thing i dread is not finding someone to love and adore like my parents, and my aunts and uncles. it really does scare me."

william weasley and fleur delacour were married during the second wizarding war, and despite the many deaths of friends and family (particularly bill's younger brother, and their dear friends remus and tonks) the young couple survived the horrors of the war. having brought their cottage sometime during the war, the newly married weasley couple decided to stay there and raise their family. of course, fleur let slip that she wished for a family (much to molly weasley's delight) and on the anniversary of the war, fleur gave birth to their first daughter, victoire weasley. this was the start of the french names and the mischief that would follow the new generation of weasley's that graced england. victoire was the first official grandchild of molly and arthur weasley, and in some ways was seen as the head of this new generation.
dominique louise weasley was born on a beautiful autumn day, and was a beautiful baby. her shockingly different brown curls stunned the weasley family, but being the third grandchild of the family, she was loved nonetheless. from a young age, dominique was surrounded by family and exposed to two different cultures. she was an intelligent toddler, and her first word was "mere", rather than "mother". for the first few years of her life she continuously mixed up her english and french speech, and it took her many years to distinguish between the two. she had always been a cheery baby, and when she first met her maternal grandparents, she bonded closely with her grandmother. being half french and an eight veela, dominique was shown the best of both worlds. although she was born in england, and had a massive english family, the young girl also experienced a lot of france. she saw her grandparents at least every month, and was constantly using the floo network in the ministry to meet up with her maternal grandparents in france. her younger years passed by without any major mishap, despite the small incident in her third year of life. she'd been playing on the kitchen floor, her mother preparing dinner. fleur turned away for one moment, and dominique somehow knocked the knife off the counter and it sliced down her left thigh. there was many screams and tears that night, but the only reminder is the scar left on her thigh.
when she was two years old, her brother - louis - was born. much like victoire and dominique had bonded, herself and louis also did. the pair were inseparable. in fact, all three siblings were at one point or another. so the new generation of weasley children began to grow up together. as victoire grew closer to hogwarts age, the discussions began of which school she'd attend. the matter was settled when victoire's hogwarts letter arrived. dominique was immensely jealous of victoire during the girls first summer back from hogwarts, and spent the majority of her holiday sulking in france. however, soon enough the time came for dominique's magical education. it was a shock to find two letters arrive in the post for her: one from hogwarts, another from beauxbatons. dominique jumped at the chance of attending the french magic school, but unfortunately for dominique it was decided she'd attend hogwarts so her sister could care for her. dominique threw tantrum after tantrum, but her parents did not budge from their decision. even her grandparents decided it'd be best.
so dominique attended hogwarts - with much reluctance - but after her first year she enjoyed it as much as her older sister. she was sorted into ravenclaw, mostly for her intelligence and vast understanding far beyond anyone her age. dominique scored incredibly high in her OWLs and NEWTs, and it showed in the amount of jobs she was offered. she was a gorgeous, intelligent weasley, related to the trio by blood and marriage. of course she'd be snapped up straight away, especially for having a french, veela mother. despite her love of france, dominique decided to stay in england. she applied for a job in the department of international magical cooperation, and became a trade manager. she spends the majority of her time organizing different meetings between the countries ministry's. as she speaks french perfectly, along with spanish and some italian and german, she is a great advantage to the department.
