Victoire Aleesa Weasley was roaming throughout the streets of Diagon Alley, she was wearing a pair of black dress pants and a white button up dress shirt, covering her whole ensemble was a black cloak with the hood draped over her head, concealing her. The rain was a light drizzle so she didn’t mind it too much, and as usual she was working. This time though she was going to go into a nice cozy little café to relax and do some paperwork on the cases she has finished and has yet to research. Walking into the Magical Mug she noticed that it wasn’t too crowded, sitting down at the farthest table in the corner she sat down her folder full of papers, along with a quil, and her wand.
She sat down and began to sift through the file not really worrying about what all was going on around her. No one would attempt to disturb her, at least she hoped not, because it probably wouldn’t be too pretty for them that is. Taking the hood of her cloak off she ran a hand through her curly blonde hair and scanned the area for a moment. There was a couple by the window of the shop that was being all lovey dovey with one another. Then there was a man sitting on the opposite side of the café just drinking his coffee.
A waiter asked if she wanted anything and Aleesa smiled gratefully but declined the offer. She couldn’t afford spilling anything on the documents before her, even though she only looked at them. Fiddling with her wand between her fingers she began to read through one of the cases that she just solved today. There was a dangerous wizard that had been out for the past couple of months, murdering muggles and wizards whenever the possiblity arose. The death count from him was about eleven, and luckily he left a pattern, and a wizard noticed him. Aleesa and her partner were on the scene within two minutes and the fight was on, of course she kicked ass and threw him into Azkaban for wizarding crimes. It wasn’t a big deal she was quite used to it.
Although he did hit her pretty hard at one point and she had a gash in her left arm that was bandaged up from when she went to St. Mungo’s to have it fixed. All the wizards there know her by name, and she has even made a few friends there because she’s been admitted so many times because of her job. It was humorous really, but to her family it wasn’t. They always worried that one day she would wind up dead and they wouldn’t even know it. Aleesa didn’t care though, it was her job to be in danger, and that’s exactly how she liked it.
Smiling at herself she jotted a couple notes down about the incident and put it behind the pile of work that had to be done. She would probably be working on it for the majority of her evening unless something else came up, but she wasn’t going to stress on it now.

- - - - - - - - - - - - Roxanne exited the back room, and entered the front of her store with a fresh pie in her hand. She was smiling happily to herself as she looked over her shop. She couldn’t help but be happy. Her store had only been open for a few weeks and business seemed to be doing well. Placing the pie on the counted she covered it with a glass lid. The smell of baked goods and freshly brewed coffee surrounded her. She took a moment to talk to the waitress she had hired and then went into the back of the shops where the books were located. Roxanne was just curious to see if anyone was in there and needed help.
She was a bit disappointed to find that no one was there. With a small sigh she returned to the front of the store and retreated to the back room to check on the cookies she had placed in the ovens, Discovering they were done, she pulled out the tray and placed the cookies on the cooling rack, she displaced the cookies from the cooling rack onto a plate and placed another tray of unbaked cookies in the oven. Bringing the plate of fresh baked cookies into the front of the store, Roxanne noted that there was a new body in it.
Her coworker was standing at the cash, so she asked if the new body had been served, when she found out that they refused Roxanne rolled her eyes and smiled to herself. She took out a small plate and placed a few cookies on it, and poured coffee into a mug. She stepped out from behind the counter with her plate of cookies and mug of coffee and made her way to the table. She passed the snogging couple and threw them a disgusted look they didn’t see and smiled at the man reading his paper. She sat down at the table with a smile “Hey there,” she said cheerfully pushing the plate of cookies towards her cousin and holding out the mug off coffee “They’re your favorite and it’s on the house” she told her with a smile.
Roxanne couldn’t help but be cheerful in her store. This store had been her dream since she was a little kid, and now it was all coming true. She loved the fact that she owned her own store, she got to chose who worked there, she got to chose what was appropriate and what wasn’t. The best part was she could wear whatever she wanted as could her employees her only catch was that they had to wear black aprons that tied around the waster and had Magical Mug written on them in white writing, the design was simple and classy and went with generally anything one wore. Roxanne herself had worn a pair of jeans and a simple top to work. Her hair was up in a messy bun. It was a simple, casual look that fit the atmosphere of her store perfectly. Roxanne had never wanted the magical Mug to feel stuffy and pretentious she wanted it to feel warm and welcoming, like a home.
Grinning happily Roxanne looked at her cousin “So how are you?” she asked her cousin. She hoped all was going well with Victoire. Roxanne and Victoire didn’t’ always get along, but she was Roxanne cousin, and family was the most important thing in Roxanne’s life.

Victoire Weasley completely forgot exactly whose shop it was that she walked and decided to retreat into. Roxanne Weasley, her cousin, owned the place, and it was very nice and quiet. She could remember that Rox used to dream about owning her own little café, and her dreams finally came true. Victoire was happy for her, she was always happy when it came to anyone in her family’s success, especially Roxanne’s. Sure, they may get at one another’s throats, but when they catch each other on a good note they’re like best friends…for the most part, anyways. It has been a while since Victoire has seen anyone in her family, her job just prevented her from it, and to be honest with how often she was getting hurt, she didn’t want too many of them to spasm about it. Roxanne and her had a clashing sort of temper about them. They always seemed to get down one another’s throats about something, and it always resorted into an argument. Victoire was really working on her temper though, it was something that she always needed to work on, but because of the stress, work was really what she could take it out on.
She sat there examining the pile of papers now scattered along the tabletop. With a long sigh she ran a hand through her blonde hair and reorganized. Just in time to see Roxanne sit across from her with a warm smile on her face. Victoire couldn’t help but smile back, perhaps they were catching each other on a good note today. Which would help her tremendously since her work was stressing her out, especially since the man who just gashed her arm would be up for trial tomorrow, and she would have to be there to testify. Victoire put her left arm underneath the table, hoping that it wasn’t too late for Rox to notice. It just wasn’t something to be showing off to the world, or to be proud of.
Victoire took the mug in her right hand and gently sipped on it. Setting it down beside her work, right next to the cookies, and she said, “Thanks, it could help just a little today.” She had to admit her day was real lousy. She really wanted to kick the guys ass to hell and back for getting her like he did. She already had enough scars, bruises, and scrapes along her body because of what she does. Another one really didn’t help her case what so ever. “Just work as usual, have to fill out all this paperwork by tomorrow morning, it’s already going down hill.” She rolled her eyes and closed her file pushing it aside even more than what it was, so that it was on the very edge of the table. “How have you been? Especially with your business, it seems like it’s going well.” Victoire added still holding a smile.
